An international Workshop on Domestic Biogas was held in Kathmandu (Nepal) between the 10th and 12th of November 2009. This workshop organized by SNV Netherlands Development Organization focus on the thematic “How to improve and scale up practices?”, with the objective to exchange a maximum of knowledge and experience between practitioners, experts and policy makers on the dissemination of domestic biogas plants.
This workshop was also the opportunity to celebrate the 200,000 biogas plants constructed under the Biogas Support Program (BSP) in Nepal with the presence of the president of the Nepal and 3 ministries.

For the SAESUp project, this workshop was a great opportunity to know more about the BSP-Nepal project and to meet the involved stakeholders preciously to the case study that will be carried out respected to this successful program.
